30 minutes from Porto and just 1 min from the beach, Be Happy Lodge and Brunch provides everything you need for the perfect Coworksurf experience. A coworking space with blazing-fast Wi-fi, surf on your doorstep, and an amazing place to stay.

Depending on what you prefer you have super cozy dorm beds or lovely designed private rooms. When you want to hang out with the other guests, there are also a very chill common area and an ocean-view rooftop. For your after-surf cook-ups, you have a fully equipped kitchen.

Our remote working community

Having the comfort of a hotel but with the social atmosphere of a hostel, Behappy is a place where you get to know a lot of people and have lots of fun. Here you can hang out with the other guests in the social lounge room, or while having a tapas and a sunset sangria on the rooftop terrace.

If you want to be active, there is, of course, surfing, but also plenty of other activities to take part in. BBQs, beach volleyball games, visits to Porto and Aveiro, nature walks, running, hiking, SUP and Yoga. And there is also affordable bike rental available, perfect for exploring the area around.

Often times we also host different workshops as a way for you to get involved in our local culture, with everything: from gastronomy to Azulejo tiles.

The Surf near Esmoriz - Porto, Portugal

Surrounded by beautiful long sandy beaches, the little seaside town of Esmoriz is a great surf destination. Here you have a big variety of beaches and point breaks within a short distance.

In front of the coliving you have the exposed Esmoriz beach break, and just to the south of town, the Maceda Natural Park borders a long stretch of uncrowded beaches. If you instead head in the other direction towards Porto, within an 11 min short drive, you have the popular point break Espinho. When it's on, this right-hander can get hollow and is even considered one of the best waves in the country.

No worries, if you're not ready for that type of wave just yet, there are also plenty of places to take surf lessons and board rentals within a short walk.

Really great place to stay, the service was really great and there are also great activities, that all the guests can take part in.For example there are BBQ‘s or beach volleyball games, which are organized by the behappy team.You get to know many other people and have lots of fun. The service is very friendly and will help you with everything, directions , infos about the city, events ! A big thanks to the behappy team !!!

Super good place! We stayed for 1 week. The Place is clean and is very nice decorated - a lot of details. The hosts Francisca and Abel are very friendly, helpful and professional. The concept is cool with the snack bar on the roof, where also local people are. Refreshing mix. And the surf... Spechless.
