Coliving with us in Essaouira
If you are in Morocco, the magical Essouira is really a must-visit. If you need to get some work done at the same time, this is the place to stay.
Our remote working community
On Fridays, we do a special couscous coworking lunch and on Sundays we do a Paella lunch meeting for the people whos not out and about, or away on a surf safari.
Our Coworking Space
Since the office space consists of different rooms, yo can choose if you prefer a coworking atmosphere or need some alone time. When you need to relax there is a terace where you can sit down and enjoy the sun, or why not go for a quick dip in the pool?
The Surf near Essaouira, Morocco
The powerful Sahara wind that frequents Essaouira is the reason why the gorgeous long beach just across the road from the coliving is known as a kitesurfing mecca. And if you're new to kitesurfing, there is a kite center just a three-minute walk away.
As for normal surfing, if the wind is not too strong, the beach also gets some pretty decent beginner to intermediate waves during the winter half of the year. When you get a few hours over, Essaouira is just a 30-min ride to the popular surf spots of Sidi Kaoki and Cap Sim. If you're without a rental car, you can easily get there in a taxi or join some of the organized surf trips heading there.
When it's on, these surf spots can serve up some beautiful barrels.

Really enjoyed our stay. All the staff were so kind and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Especially kind were Emen and Fatimzara on reception. Beautiful Riad, two minutes walk from the beach, very comfortable beds and good breakfast either in the dining room or on the terrace by the pool. Would definitely stay again.

I recommend WORK AND BEACH in Essaouira, it's very quiet, with a very nice view. The staff is always attentive. thank you for your welcome

Not a coliving at all, it's a hotel that also has one room that is used for coworking - and not a great coworking room, it's an old bar/cafe that isn't functioning, in the afternoon the sun made it tough to work there (huge windows, not a single curtain), doesn't have accessible plugs from every table (no real desks), barely any light at night, etc. I saw two other people also working there during the entire week of my stay. The wifi in my bedroom (when I was able to get it) was absolutely terrible (2.15 mbps download, 0.3 mbps upload). The staff was nice and there is a swimming pool. There are better alternatives, and not this far from the center.
Our Coliving Accommodation
Depending on what you prefer you can stay in a private room in our Riad (traditional Moroccan house), or in one of our apartments a one-minute walk from the Riad. Both places have a swimming pool and regardless of what you choose, you of course always have access to our cowork and all the other facilities in the Riad. Breakfast and city taxes are not included.
