Host Profile Picture
Times are changing, the digital nomad lifestyle is here to stay and if there is anything we've learnt in recent times is how important it is to nurture our relationship with nature, with other people and ultimately with all those little things that we so often take for granted. At Vivenda Felicidade we are cocreating a space to explore a new perspective on coliving as remote workers, where everyone brings their own unique qualities to the mixture so we can all share an enriching experience, contribute to a greener economy and help each other grow. We aim to host digital nomads and remote workers who want to learn about sustainable/ regenerative practices and be part of the process of becoming more resource independent. After working remotely for 5 years, we've decided to set our roots in Sintra. Chico is currently working as a gardener (still an aspiring gardener) and as a certified surf instructor (with over 25 years of experience). Liam is a UX Designer and psychology student. We both love the ocean, the earth and animals. On our free times we like to do sports such as surfing, skating, yoga, reading, dancing and more.

Coliving with us in Lisbon

Our Home for Remote Workers who love the ocean, animals and the earth.

We started this project by accident 4 years ago during Covid. We strived to find people with similar interests, looking for a more sustainable and regenerative lifestyle while implementing permaculture design principles and we liked it.

Our House is an 100 year old house who belonged to our ancestors. It was abbandoned and we decided to become the new stewards commited to bring life back to it.

Our mission is:
- To Regenerate the soil
- Increase biodiversity on Site
- Become 80% energy independent

We aim to finance our project by hosting Remote workers who want to learn and be part of our mission while surfing, farming and having fun together.

We are located in the center of a small Village called Tojeira, between Sintra and Ericeira, where peace meets between vibrant touristic surfing destinations.

Our remote working community

At Vivenda Felicidade, community and connection are at the heart of the experience. Our guests naturally form friendships through shared meals, bonfire nights, and weekly gatherings, where we exchange ideas, host masterminds, and even dive into skill-sharing workshops.

We often go surfing together, explore hidden hiking trails, and enjoy yoga and breathwork sessions. Whether it's a spontaneous road trip or a deep conversation by the fire, meaningful connections happen effortlessly.

Our community is diverse, attracting remote workers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and wellness enthusiasts from all over the world. Most guests stay for a few weeks to a couple of months, seeking both focus and adventure.

We communicate through a guest WhatsApp group to share plans, coordinate activities, and support one another. While we are hands-on hosts, our space also allows for independence and deep work. Those looking for additional networking opportunities can explore nearby coworking spaces.

Our home is designed for remote workers and digital nomads, blending productivity with an immersive nature experience. Whether you're here to work, surf, or simply recharge, you’ll find your flow at Vivenda Felicidade.

Our Coworking Space

At Vivenda Felicidade, we provide a dedicated coworking space with high-speed 5G internet, ensuring a stable and productive work environment for remote workers. Guests can choose from various work settings, including private desks in rooms, communal coworking areas, and outdoor spaces surrounded by nature.

While most of our guests are digital nomads or remote workers, we also welcome creatives, entrepreneurs, and those seeking a balance between work and well-being. We encourage a respectful work environment, with quiet hours starting at 10 PM on weekdays to maintain focus and relaxation.

For those needing additional inspiration, we have social and private workspaces to accommodate different work styles. While we don't have a dedicated creative studio yet, we provide spaces for brainstorming, collaboration, and deep work.

Power outages are rare, but we are working toward full energy independence by 2030. Additionally, coworking spaces and work-friendly cafés are within walking distance for those who enjoy a change of scenery.

Whether you're looking for a focused work retreat or a balanced work-play lifestyle, Vivenda Felicidade offers the ideal setting to stay productive while staying connected to nature and community.
