Times are changing, the digital nomad lifestyle is here to stay and if there is anything we've learnt in recent times is how important it is to nurture our relationship with nature, with other people and ultimately with all those little things that we so often take for granted.
At Vivenda Felicidade we are cocreating a space to explore a new perspective on coliving as remote workers, where everyone brings their own unique qualities to the mixture so we can all share an enriching experience, contribute to a greener economy and help each other grow.
We aim to host digital nomads and remote workers who want to learn about sustainable/ regenerative practices and be part of the process of becoming more resource independent.
After working remotely for 5 years, we've decided to set our roots in Sintra. Chico is currently working as a gardener (still an aspiring gardener) and as a certified surf instructor (with over 25 years of experience). Liam is a UX Designer and psychology student. We both love the ocean, the earth and animals. On our free times we like to do sports such as surfing, skating, yoga, reading, dancing and more.

We started this project by accident 4 years ago during Covid. We strived to find people with similar interests, looking for a more sustainable and regenerative lifestyle while implementing permaculture design principles and we liked it.
Our House is an 100 year old house who belonged to our ancestors. It was abbandoned and we decided to become the new stewards commited to bring life back to it.

The nearest airport is Lisbon Airport (LIS), located about 40 minutes away by car. How to get from the airport to Vivenda Felicidade By Uber/Bolt: The easiest option, costing around €20–€25 (40 min). By public transport: Take a train from Lisbon to Sintra, then a bus to Magoito. Total travel time: 1h30min. Cost: around €6 per person. Private pick-up: We can arrange an airport pick-up upon request for convenience—just let us know in advance! Getting around in town Walking: Our area is very walkable, with grocery stores, cafés, and nature trails nearby. Car rental: If you plan to explore the region, renting a car is best directly at the airport for the best rates and availability. Check Hertz, Avis, or Budget for prices.
